Who do I have to kidnap to get some money around here?

I was going to post on the Italian journalist kidnapping, but it seems Michelle Malkin has beaten me to it. I guess that's why she gets the big bucks.

I will say this:

1. When you pay money for return of a hostage, they learn that it is a profitable enterprise, and will continue to kidnap.

2. When you don't obey the guys with the guns at a checkpoint, they might shoot at you.

3. When driving at high speed in Iraq on a secret mission, it's best to let the American's know.
